Definition: to not do something that you were going to do, or to stop doing something before you have completely finished

Sentence: He dropped out of the race after two laps.

2.Grit

Definition: courage and determination despite difficulty

Sentence: It takes true grit to stand up to a bully.

3.Perseverance

Definition: continued effort and determination

Sentence: Through hard work and perseverance, he worked his way up to the top.

4.Stamina

Definition: the physical and/or mental strength to do something that might be difficult and will take a long time

Sentence: The triathlon is a great test of stamina.

5.Work ethic

Definition: the belief that work is morally good

Sentence: Bill's work ethic was never very strong.

No, because it can help many things in our life. It is very inconvenient without technology. Like smartphone, it has so many functions. When I want to know how can I go to that place, the google map is convenience for me. And when I have some questions about my homework, I can get some information from the internet. I can’t imagine if we didn’t have technology in our life, how inconvenient it would be.

My current goal is to graduate successfully, and I have no idea about the long-term goals in the future. In order to graduate successfully, I must pass the certificate required by the school. In addition to the license, the final exam is also to be passed.  So I have to take classes and study seriously.
